Boris Giltburg (Israel), Winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2013

Born into a family of pianists, Boris Giltburg began his studies with his mother and later became a pupil of Arie Vardi. From 2001 to 2007, he studied at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv. Since his impressive debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra in 2007, he has performed with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra at the BBC Proms in 2010 and with other leading orchestras such as the London Philharmonic, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, and the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. He is a laureate of the Santander (2002), Lisbon (1st Prize in 2003), and Tel Aviv (Rubinstein, 2nd Prize in 2011) international competitions. He performs regularly in Europe (e.g., at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall, and the Royal Festival Hall), in North and South America, in Asia, and in Israel.

Vadym Kholodenko is already a winner of some major prizes. He won first prize at both the International Schubert Competition in Dortmund in 2012, and the Sendai International Music Competition in 2010.
