The Orff Collection: 40 pieces for piano by Carl Orff selected and introduced by Maurice Hinson

The 40 piano pieces in this collection are taken from the work Klavierübung (Piano Studies). They form a basis for sound musical training and provide an approach to playing the piano within a framework of contemporary and agreeable sounds. Maurice Hinson's notes on each piece are included below to give you an idea of how each piece can be played. It's a kind of miniature piano method covering Orff's approach to the instrument.
